JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Production Warehouse Assistant.

Reporting to the Production Manager and Production Team Leader, the main responsibilities include:

• General assistance of day to day operation of the production area, these Include:
  • Goods in and out material control.
  • Transporting and collecting goods from local suppliers.
  • Reporting stock levels of standard panel build components.
  • Movement of material from storage to Production area.
  • Maintain the cleanliness the production area, and make improvements as needed.
• Assist Production engineers and contribute to the production requirements.
  • Hands on assistance with Installation of Equipment into sub-stations.
  • Hands on assistance with Protection and control panel manufacturing.
  • Hands on assistance with Testing of equipment.
• Assist QHSE in the condition and security of the building and outside areas.
• Assist in the general usage of the Machinery and tools within the production areas:
  • Returning to storage area.
  • Calibration.
  • Repair and maintenance schedule.
• Identify and communicate potential H&S risks in the production area.
• Maintain the stock levels of the PPE for all employees.
• Assist in the activities of contractors working in the production area.

Skill and Qualification

• General IT skills, Excel, word, outlook.
• FLT Counterbalance Licence. (ABA Category: B1 or equivalent)
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Full Car Driving Licence.

The following would be advantageous:

• Slinging / Signaller certification. (NPORS – N402 or equivalent)
• Experience using SAP, MIGO – External Goods Movement, screen.

Working hours:

• Monday to Thursday 8 am to 5pm
• Friday 8 am to 1pm.
